Description

There are holiday appetizers, and then there are showstoppers. Bacon-Wrapped Cornbread Stuffing Bombs fall squarely into that second camp. These little bites bring together everything folks love about a good Southern feast… crispy Kountry Boys Original Bacon, warm cornbread stuffing and a touch of sweet heat right on top. They’re the kind of snack that makes folks hover around the appetizer table, pretending they’re “just grabbing one more” while sneaking two.

If you grew up in a Texas kitchen, you know stuffing isn’t just a once-a-year thing. It’s comfort in a pot. It’s the smell that brings everyone out of their rooms. And when you roll it up, wrap it in thick slices of bacon and throw it on the grill, well, that’s when tradition meets pure magic. These stuffing bombs are easy to make, fun to eat and guaranteed to disappear quicker than you can say pass me another plate.

Serve them at Thanksgiving, Christmas, backyard barbecues or any time you need something bite-sized that punches way above its weight. Warm, salty, sweet and smoky all in one bite… that’s Kountry Boys cooking at its finest.

Filling ’Em Up Texas-Style

The beauty of this recipe is that it uses simple ingredients you probably already have on hand. The Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing Mix brings that classic homestyle flavor without any fuss. Once you boil the water and butter and stir it in, the kitchen fills with that warm cornbread aroma that makes everyone stop and ask what you’re cookin’.

After the stuffing sits for a few minutes and gets fluffed with a fork, it turns into the perfect texture for rolling. Not too wet, not too crumbly. Just right for shaping into little balls. Once they cool a bit, you can scoop and roll them into golf-ball-sized bites that hold their shape.

And here’s where the real Texas flavor comes in. Each stuffing ball gets wrapped in a strip of Kountry Boys Original Bacon, the kind that crisps up beautifully on the grill and carries that rich smoky flavor we’re known for. Add a sprinkle of Kountry Boys Ole No. 1 Seasoning and you’ve got yourself a bite-sized treat that tastes like the holidays met a Saturday tailgate.

When those stuffing bombs hit the grill at 350°F, the bacon sizzles, the edges crisp and the stuffing warms back through. The smell alone is enough to pull neighbors from their porches. Turn them occasionally so the bacon cooks evenly, and in about 10–12 mins, you’ll have golden, crispy, bacon-wrapped bites ready for the finishing touch.

That last step is what sets this recipe apart. A spoonful of hot pepper cranberry jelly drizzled over each bomb gives you sweet, tangy heat that cuts through the richness just right. One bite in and you know why folks keep coming back for more.
